Overnight Camp-Equestrian Add Ons: Two Equestrian Add On programs are being offered during Overnight Camp Sessions 1-6. These add-ons are available to overnight campers who want to spend even more time at the barn this summer!

Equestrian Mini-Camp: Campers will spend their morning activity sessions at the barn (approximately 2 ½ hours each day). All ages and ability levels of riders who are in a 1:5 ratio or higher and can follow verbal directions are welcome. Campers will:

• Groom and tack up their own horse each day
• Have daily riding lessons
• Learn basic horsemanship and help with stable duties
• Experience Kamp A-Kom-Plish’s amazing trails on horseback
• Explore different types of riding, like bareback and playing games

Mini-Camp Fee (in addition to regular Kamp fees): $145

Equestrian Mini-Lessons: Campers will participate in private or semi-private lessons and will receive individualized instruction to develop riding skills. Lessons are contained to one or two riders, and groupings are based on current ability level. All ages and ability levels of riders are welcome. Campers will:

• Spend approximately 45 minutes Monday through Thursday at the barn focusing on gaining and improving riding and horsemanship skills.
• Experience riding outside of the arena
• Explore different types of riding, like bareback and playing games

Mini-Lesson Fee (in addition to regular Kamp fees): $125

Equestrian Day Camp:
Our fun and educational Equestrian Day Camp is a great way for campers between the ages of 8 and 16 to have a fun and exciting week riding and spending time at the barn! Campers receive daily individualized instruction in small group mounted and unmounted lessons. This program is best suited for riders that can independently groom, tack, and ride at the walk and trot. Don't forget a bathing suit- we'll cool off in the pool after we ride! Transportation to and from La Plata, and breakfast and lunch are included.

Equestrian Overnight Camp:
Are you the kind of girl who would rather be a barn bum than a couch potato? If so, our Equestrian Overnight Camp is the place for you! This camp provides an intense week of horsemanship, riding, and FUN for girls between 10 and 16 years old. Each camper has the opportunity to ride daily, assist in the care and feeding of horses, and still have time to splash in the pool! Activities include a field trip, barn sleepover, and drill team performance for parents and friends.
