Overnight Kamp A-Kom-Plish campers enjoy a wide variety of daily activities from Sunday at 11am to Friday at 10am, including swimming, horseback riding, creative arts, the climbing wall, sports and much more. Campers share comfortable, air conditioned cabins and our small camper groups are staffed based on each camper?s individual abilities. Overnight camp is a great place for campers to gain independence, make lasting friendships, and explore new opportunities!

Terrific Teen
The Terrific Teen program is designed for campers ages 13 to 18, who are ready to take on some responsibility in addition to having camp fun! During the two-week session, Terrific Teens focus on team building, leadership development and work ethic in the hopes that they will return to camp in the future as staff. The teens will work daily in one of our program areas or with a camper group. They will also work on a camp improvement project to help enhance the camp community. Over the weekend they will go on a field trip which they will have planned and budgeted themselves, with help from their counselors. Note that an additional application and interview is required for this program.

Equestrian Program
Overnight Camp-Equestrian Add Ons: Two Equestrian Add On programs are being offered during Overnight Camp. These add-ons are available to overnight campers who want to spend even more time at the barn this summer!
Equestrian Mini-Camp: Campers will spend their morning activity sessions at the barn (approximately 2 ½ hours each day). All ages and ability levels of riders who are in a 1:5 ratio or higher and can follow verbal directions are welcome. Campers will:
- Groom and tack up their own horse each day
- Have daily riding lessons
- Learn basic horsemanship and help with stable duties
- Experience Kamp A-Kom-Plish?s amazing trails on horseback
- Explore different types of riding, like bareback and playing games
Mini-Camp Fee (in addition to regular Kamp fees): $145
Equestrian Mini-Lessons : Campers will participate in private or semi-private lessons and will receive individualized instruction to develop riding skills. Lessons are contained to one or two riders, and groupings are based on current ability level. All ages and ability levels of riders are welcome. Campers will:
- Spend approximately 45 minutes Monday through Thursday at the barn focusing on gaining and improving riding and horsemanship skills.
- Experience riding outside of the arena
- Explore different types of riding, like bareback and playing games
